• Our custom application runs on the Tag user’s laptop system (Windows XP/Vista 32 bit) and once reported lost or stolen, reports the Internet Address of the machine when ever then machine is connected.
• When a loss occurs the user simply logs into and reports the loss.
• The Internet address information collected can be turned over to the authorities to facilitate in the apprehension of the thieves and the recovery of the users hardware.
• Any time the application connects to the internet during system start up and reports its location and the machine has not been reported stolen, a custom splash screen appears reminding the user that the application is running/protecting them. The splash screen is customized to remind the user that your organization provided the service, keeping your name in front of the user.

When your laptop computer is reported stolen, any attempt to use it on the internet will cause personal data contained on it to be deleted, and the IP address will be logged to assist in the recovery of the computer by law enforcement agencies.
